Who We Are
DKR is the focal point of the Horses4Heroes Camp Spectacular. This Las-Vegas based camp is entering its fourth year with more campers than ever. Our theme for 2013 is Survive Summer Camp!, which you can read about here. The focus of our camp is fun. We want every camper to leave with a smile on their face and plenty of stories to entertain their parents.  Our camp has a horse component meaning that campers will learn all about horses and other types of animals.

*Disclaimer* Due to the summer heat, horse time is limited. We prefer water activities so everyone can cool off quickly. Horses are important to our camp but only one aspect of the fun experience that is Camp DKR.

Who We Serve
Horses4Heroes's camps are only for H4H members. Camp DKR is for kids ages 6 to 11.

What We Do
Last year, Camp DKR was transformed in an Olympic training center as campers prepared for the Olympic rodeo during the last week. Medals were awarded as well.

In 2011, our focus was Spread your wings at Summer Camp. Campers were encouraged to try new experiences such as leading a camp song or riding a horse for the first time.

Each year, we send the campers home with prizes and memories. Many of them return week after week.
